Cody's Shirt Class

Many of y’all have asked for a shirt class from Cody, well here you go! This class is going to be a little different from other classes taught because we are not able to get or sell the pattern. This pattern is from Etsy, so the customer is going to be responsible for purchasing the pattern from TadahPatterns (Men’s Troop Shirt) and have it printed out and cut out. You can print pattern out on your printer and tape the pieces together or we recommend taking the file to somewhere like Office Depot and have them print it out on larger paper, it is much easier that way.

In the class we will use the pattern pieces to cut out the fabric pieces and sew it together. When you purchase and download the pattern it will give you the size measurements, so you know how much fabric is going to be required.

MAKE SURE YOU WASH ALL OF YOUR FABRIC BEFORE CUTTING OUT SHIRT!!!

You will need:

1. 6 (14mm -15mm) buttons we have many colors to choose from
2. ¼ yard of shapeflex by Pellon
3. 50wt Cotton thread to match fabric of choice
4. Hot Hemmer or Hot Ruler
5. Sewing machine (and supplies to operate it)
6. #10 foot or an Edge Stitch foot for your machine
7. Regular sewing foot
8. 80/12 microtex needle
9. Frixion Pen to mark fabric or marking pen of your choice
10. By Annie Stiletto recommended
11. Straight pins

These items will be provided in class:

1. Irons will be supplied
2. Sergers will be provided in class
